Jealous

Exodus 34:14, “Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” God is jealous for us. He craves relationship and time with us. That is why we were created. His jealousy is not selfish, it is mutually beneficial. He is not concerned with the vast universe that he spoke into existence; instead He is filled with passion about contact with us. Wow! Family. The first human institution. Hated by the devil. 100% of all divorces are caused by selfishness. We must love like the Bible says to keep our families together. We at home extension are praying for marriages in general. The family is under attack and we are standing in the gap. The husband-wife relationship represents the union between Christ and his church. No wonder the devil hates the marriage covenant and wants to pervert it! Pray that God would intervene on behalf of marriages!
