Jealous

Exodus 34:14, “Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” God is jealous for us. He craves relationship and time with us. That is why we were created. His jealousy is not selfish, it is mutually beneficial. He is not concerned with the vast universe that he spoke into existence; instead He is filled with passion about contact with us. Wow!
