Look up at the stars. Do you realize that these stars are the very same stars that God told Abraham to look at?! That is amazing to me. God’s creation tells a story if we are willing to hear it. Those same stars are the stars that the wise men watched to forsee the coming birth of Jesus. These are the stars that I look at in wonder and amazement. My God created all those stars with his voice. He created them for me to be filled with awe at His power.
Let’s stop for a second and appreciate the beauty of the heavenly bodies that God made for us!
Twinkle twinkle little star
September 27, 2010Unholy burning books Batman!
September 11, 2010A pastor in Florida is planning on burning a stack of Qurans on 9-11-2010. The media is frothing at the mouth with hate toward his intentions (funny from such a tolerant-yeah right- group.) The irony of this story is that if they, THE PRESS, would simply not cover this, then the whole world, who fronts offense at this, would not even know about it! So, for those who say he is bad for doing it, I say that the media is worse for giving him an international platform! Shame on you media! Hypocracy abounds! Leave me your comments, please.
Numbers
September 2, 201017, 12, 7, 6, and almost 1. What do these numbers have in common? They are the ages of my children. This spacing wasn’t planned by us, just by God. It is a really cool position as a parent to see all these levels of childhood experience happening at once. It makes me think of how God sees us. We only see the now and the past of our life, but God sees the future too. He sees us in the past, present and future all at once, sort of like I see my kids in their various ages all at once. He sees who we are becoming. He sees the finished product of his efforts in our life.
Don’t feel bad about the failures and shortcomings in your life. Know that God is still working on you and He loves you! You are one of his children!
